Remote DBA and SQL Administrator Jobs
Since the widespread problem of security and database failure all over the world, the demand for SQL administrators and database maintenance professionals have increased dramatically. The problem is that most of the jobs offered for SQL and remote DBA handlers are usually offered outside of the country.
For this reason, there seems to be no room anymore for local professionals in the field of DBA and SQL jobs to be offered. I bet this will all change especially when people learn that the security issue is a serious business necessity.
Take for example the case of the conficker virus or the April Fools worm, if without some of the security experts, this could have been everywhere in the billions of business websites out there. We all owe it to the SQl database and remote DBA professionals most of the time because they are the ones responsible for taking care of the security of our data which to any business is the most important.

Meeting a Friend in the SQL Service
It's been a long time since I wrote something that would relate to the main topic of this blog about remote DBA or SQL solutions and the people behind the scene serving the businesses out there. As I've told in my previous posts, SQL professionals are the heart and soul of a business as well as the servers that these people handle for different businesses.
Today, I came close encounter with one of the best SQL maintenance people here in the Philippines where I work. His name is Jeff Manese and I know that he is one of those who might not be better than the best but what strikes me about this person is that he is so inclined to his job that he knows what and how to attack an SQL problem or bottleneck. I learned a little bit from him but I must admit that I will soon learn more. Hope to meet you again soon my friend and next time, I won't let go of you until you discuss with me that special ability you were talking about. Have a good day!

Checking the health of the SQL server is one of the core essential jobs that a remote database administrator jobs that should be handled with care. The reason for this is because we all know that the heart and soul of a business is that server where all the important information is kept and made available to consumers and customers. If this particular job is not handled properly, this can cause an intensive damage that can lead to server downtime which is what should be primarily avoided in doing an SQL server health check.
In accomplishing the job, it is of utmost importance that the database administrator (DBA) must make sure that he/she is using a reliable tool. Only the DBA will know which perfect toll in this case to use because he/she knows the job and what it needs in any circumstance. One important factor in getting the right tool for the right job however is to make trials. Most of these tools are totally free for a trial period to give the user a chance to see if it is indeed effective and worth to take as a helper in checking for the health of the SQL server. This tool is the SQL Trace Analyzer. I also found another good source of the SQL Trace Analyzer tool here.
